Thank you for your interest in Carterhatch Infant School we are currently looking to appoint:

Learning Assistant for Early Years or Key Stage 1,

Scale 3 32.5 hours per week 39 weeks per year,

Required from as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and successful professional to join the staff team of this popular and happy school, which serves a rich and diverse multi-ethnic community.

We are looking for an effective practitioner who:

  • has excellent interpersonal skills and is committed to working as part of a team.
  • has high expectations of pupils' achievement and is committed to getting it right for every child.
  • has a nurturing approach to developing relationships with children and a commitment to child-centred education.
  • understands that this is more than a job – it is a responsibility, with the main responsibility being to the children and their families to provide the very best start in life.
  • understands the importance and is ready to assist in providing effective inclusive practice to ensure best outcomes for children with special educational needs, and/or children who are multi language learners.
  • will share Our Aim: The best start in life for all our children - no excuse - no compromise.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
